6 of the Best Holistic Products You SHOULD Have At Home?
These Are The 6 Holistic Products You SHOULD Have At Home?
In this article, I give you the top holistic products you should own at home for self-elevation.
We all have to start somewhere right? Although I am far from being a materialistic person, certain things I just can’t go without.
Or maybe I can but in a way some of these products make me feel safer. They also make me feel more aligned in the journey to become my better and higher self.
Nothing fancy, expensive or out of reach !
1 – Incense
Incense has always been part of my life, but at the time I did not know about its holistic properties.
My mom would burn some thiouraye (traditional Senegalese incense) after our sacred Sunday afternoon meal. The sweet scent would travel around the house and make you forget that we have had a feast full of onions, garlic, and fried fish.
Thiouraye is a dry blend of scented plants, that is left to macerate with essential oils, then placed on an incense burner to perfume the house and purify the air.
It was traditionally used to purify deaths, protect newborn babies, remove bad spirits or heal illnesses. Some like gowe were actually used in tea infusions to purify women’s womb.
In many different parts of the world, incense has a spiritual meaning and I find that since I have started to use it at home it makes me feel calmer and more at peace.
On that note, my favourite incense scent is and will always be Nag champa.
Nag Champa is a gift from the beautiful country India, made of sandalwood powder, essential oils, and dried Champa flowers.
It is one of the most popular incenses and most used, thanks to its exotic scent.
It leads to a state of calmness and meditation. You can easily find it in health shops, Indian convenience stores, markets, and online.
This is by far my favorite holistic item.
2 – Black Tourmaline
This deep black gemstone is known to free us from evil and bad spirits/energies. Tourmaline has an influence on lowering the magnetic waves that surround us in our daily lives: microwaves, 4G wifi, antennas, etc…
Talk about protection eh?
It is also know to ease sore feet and ankles, and helps in kidney disfunction.
After a while, your tourmaline will have given all the energy it contained so it is necessary to cleanse it with lightly salted water (as alkaline as it can be).
Beware of charging this stone under the sun, as it will decrease its properties.
The black tourmaline suit all star signs which makes it even more powerful and special.
I found mine on reclaiming zen, and this also where I bought many other crystals I own. This website has a great range of spiritual and holistic products, also plenty of gift ideas for her or for him.
3 – Himalayan salt lamp
The Himalayan salt lamp is a great way to detox your home naturally (i talk about it more in detail here).
It is also a lovely decoration item. There are now different varieties you can buy for your home to look trendy and earthy boho, my favorites are:
The grey flame lamp
The cube lamp
4 – Meditation pillow
Well, I meditate on the floor to feel grounded but after 5 minutes it can get a bit uncomfortable so I now use a pillow.
You should definitely check Bean Products for their amazing meditation pillows :
Bean Products is an environmentally friendly manufacturer of yoga, health, meditation products, and organic home furnishings. They use sustainable, eco-friendly resources like buckwheat hulls, organic cotton, hemp, recycled poly fiber, and natural latex.
5 – Meditation app
iAwake integrates cutting edge neuro-technology and energy medicine to help you achieve deep meditation. Their sound-based tools provide guidance for a deep meditative state.
The topics on their website include brainwave meditation, deep breathing, the definition of meditation, what is happiness, and more.
A must try!
What I like the most is the community-feel where you can share with people around the world, you can see who meditates in your area and you can connect with like-minded people.
So try it out and let me know how you find it 🙂
6 – Natural toothpaste
If there is one thing I know I will never go back to is :
Fluoride in tap water and toothpaste have negative effects on our Pineal Gland (third eye) which consequently affects our :
- and psychic awareness.
Lucky for us, we live in a day and age where the masses are now aware of this issue and companies are surfing on the holistic health wave.
However, it took me a while to find the brand that I can trust, affordable, and make my teeth feel like they are fully taken care of.
My teeth are also considerably whiter than before I started using the Himalaya Botanique fluoride-free toothpaste.
So here it is my lovelies, you have now a blend of simple tricks to feel more at peace at home and align with a more holistic way of living.
